Tecno has just opened its pre-order books for one of its latest smartphones, the Camon 40 Pro, here in Malaysia. Just in case you missed it, Tecno debuted its Camon 40 series of devices during MWC 2025, which consisted of the Camon 40, the Camon 40 Pro, the Camon 40 Pro 5G, as well as the Camon 40 Premier 5G. The Camon 40 Pro 5G will also be brought into the Malaysian market, but at a later date.

The Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G is listed for pre-order exclusively on Tecno Malaysia’s TikTok Shop with a price tag of RM899. Its official launch in Malaysia is set to take place on the 21st of March 2025.

Specs-wise, you get a 6.78″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2436 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. At the heart of the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G is a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, mated to 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM that’s expandable to 16GB when more performance is needed.
In the imaging department, you get a 50MP f/1.9 main camera with a 1/1.56″ Sony LYT-700C sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, along with a 50MP f/2.5 selfie shooter up front.
Keep lights on is a 5,200mAh battery, that can receive charge via USB-C at 45W. The Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G runs on the smartphone maker’s HiOS 15 skin, built atop Android 15. Rated for IP68/69, the device is dust and water resistant, and can be had in either Galaxy Black or Emerald Lake Green shades.
