Gentari continues to expand its EV charging network in Kelantan and the latest deployment is at Ambank. This is Gentari’s fifth DC charger location in Kota Bharu and it is also priced per kWh.
Gentari has installed a 50kW DC charger with two CCS2 nozzles at Ambank, located along Jalan Sultan Ibrahim in Kota Bharu, which is next to a Shell petrol station.
Similar to other Gentari DC Chargers, the charger is priced at RM1.50 per kWh. If you have an annual Gentari membership, you can enjoy a 50% discounted rate of RM0.75 per kWh.
Take note that despite having two CCS2 nozzles, the 50kW DC Charger at Ambank is only suitable to charge one EV at the time. From the image above, there’s only one EV charging bay and it is placed close to a wall next to the stairs leading up to the building.
Besides this location, Gentari has two 180kW DC Chargers with 2x CCS nozzles located at Petronas Pasir Pekan and Petronas Pasir Tembak. There are also 60kW DC chargers with 2x CCS nozzles deployed at Proton 3S JM Otomobil Inovatif and Perdana Kota Bharu.
Besides Gentari, there’s also a 60kW DC Charger deployed by ChargeSini at Mydin Kubang Kerian and a 47kW DC Charger deployed by TNB Electron at Aeon Mall Kota Bharu.
