Samsung has announced that it will be holding its press conference titled “AI for All: Everyday, Everywhere” at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Products expected to be launched by the company during this event include its new lineup of AI-powered home appliances.

The lineup of home appliances should include the new refrigerators, washing machines, and dryers Samsung has just unveiled recently. Among the main highlights of these new products will be the brand’s “AI Home” feature.

With AI Home, you will be able to remotely control all of your compatible Samsung home appliances via the SmartThings platform, using the touchscreens built into the respective products.

Speaking of touchscreens, some of the new Samsung Bespoke refrigerators Samsung is set to showcase at its CES 2025 press conference will come with 9-inch touchscreens, while you can expect to see Bespoke washing machines and dryers with 7-inch touchscreens.

With those touchscreens, you will be able to access Samsung’s new “Map View” function, where you can monitor and control all of your compatible smart Samsung home appliances. This includes turning them on and off, and even tracking their location and current status. In the future, you will get to control even more advanced settings such as changing the operation mode or temperatures of the appliances, via software updates.

Like Samsung’s current Bespoke smart appliances, the upcoming products will also come with the brand’s Bixby voice assistant. This allows you to control the appliances via voice, and even answer calls, thanks to them being equipped with WiFi. The Bixby voice assistant will also be able to recognise each family member’s voice, thanks to the “Voice ID” feature, providing a more personalised user experience.

You can browse the web using the built-in touchscreen, on a washing machine!

Guess what, you can even use those built-in screens to browse the web, check the weather, stream music on Spotify, and even play YouTube videos so that you can keep yourself entertained while waiting for your laundry to be washed.

Prefer to watch TV channels? Fear not, as the new appliances will come pre-installed with the Samsung TV Plus app, enabling you to watch live channels and video-on-demand content.

When is the press conference happening?

The Samsung “AI for All: Everyday, Everywhere” press conference will be taking place on the 6th of January 2025 and is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM (Malaysian time). That will be just a day before CES 2025 opens its doors to the public, which will be held between the 7th and 10th of January.

Interested in witnessing the press conference and seeing what Samsung has to offer with its new home appliances? The press conference will be livestreamed on Samsung’s newsroom website.
