If you’re a CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G customer and can’t get fibre broadband for your home, here’s another high-speed broadband solution for your consideration. As part of its year-end promo, CelcomDigi is offering its “unlimited” 5G Home WiFi solution for only RM69/month for a limited time.

The 5G Home WiFi plan + router combo usually costs RM149/month and they are offering additional rebates and discount for existing postpaid customers.

If you’re a Celcom, Digi or CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G customer with a monthly commitment of RM60 and above, you’ll be able to enjoy a monthly rebate of RM70/month. As part of their current online exclusive offer, existing CelcomDigi postpaid customers can enjoy extra RM10/month rebate, which knocks down the monthly subscription to RM69/month. This promo is offered until 31st December 2024, while stocks last.

According to the FAQ, this “unlimited 4G/5G” data plan comes with a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 1,000GB per month. Upon hitting the limit, you’ll receive an email notification from CelcomDigi and your speeds will be reduced to 512kbps.

Do note that CelcomDigi 5G Home WiFi (Plan + Router) customers are required to pay an upfront payment of RM288 upon activation and this amount will be rebated back to you over a 24-month period (RM12 x 24 months).

Like most broadband plans, the 5G Home WiFi plan with router is tied to a 24-month contract. If you terminate the service before fulfilling the contract period, CelcomDigi charges a penalty based on the remaining months or a minimum of RM500, whichever is higher. The penalty costs RM149/month for each remaining month in the contract, which means if you cancel with 10 months remaining, you’ll have to pay RM1,490.
