EVPower’s EV charging hub in Melaka has gotten a significant upgrade and it is home to the fastest and cheapest DC charger in town. The previous 60kW DC Charger has been replaced with a more powerful 240kW Sinexcel DC Charger and EV owners can enjoy a special DC charging rate of as low as RM1.02 per kWh.
The EVPower Charging Hub in Melaka is located at The Concept Hotel along Jalan Gajah Berang, Kampung Enam. There are a total of 8x 22kW AC Charge Points and a 240kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles.
Cheapest 240kW DC Charger in Melaka, priced at RM1.20 per kWh
The 240kW DC charger is currently offered with a promo price of RM1.20 per kWh, while the 22kW AC charge points are priced at RM1.00 per kWh. The DC charger has been set up for dynamic power allocation and EV owners can get up to a maximum of 240kW if they are the only vehicle plugged in.
For ease of activation, EVPower chargers can be activated via card terminals powered by JuiceUp, which eliminates the need to download an app.
To activate the chargers, you can simply tap on the card terminal, follow the instructions and then tap your credit, debit and prepaid card to start charging.
The EVPower charging hub in Melaka is an ideal location to charge an EV. Besides the hotel, there are also cafe and restaurants around the areas.

The EVPower charging location at The Concept Hotel is the second location in the historical city to offer 240kW DC charging. A few months ago, DC Handal deployed a 240kW Autel DC Charger at Encore Melaka. The chargers can also be activated via the card terminal and they are priced at RM1.50 per kWh.
