Besides the Zeekr 009, Zeekr Malaysia has also launched the Zeekr X. This is their fully electric crossover SUV offering which shares similar underpinnings with the Smart #1, Smart #3 and the Volvo EX30. While it shares the same Geely SEA platform, the Zeekr X undercuts its direct rivals by quite a significant margin.
Zeekr X Malaysia Pricing
The Zeekr X is offered in two versions and here’s the official pricing in Malaysia:
- Zeekr X Premium (2WD) – RM155,800
- Zeekr X Flagship (AWD) – RM172,800
For the first 500 customers, Zeekr Malaysia is offering a launch package which includes a home charger, portable charger, solar film and a sunshade. This compact SUV is covered by a 5-year/150,000km vehicle warranty, 8-year/160,000km battery warranty and 2-years of connected services.
The Zeekr X is offered in 5 exterior colours – Crystal White, Mist Grey, Grid Grey, Palace Beige and Pine Green, along with interior options of Charcoal Black and Stone Grey.
Zeekr X Malaysia Specs and Features
The range topping Zeekr X Flagship AWD comes with twin motors that produces 422hp and 543Nm of torque and it can do 0-100km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Meanwhile, the Zeekr X Premium gets a single motor driving the rear wheels that produces 268hp and 343Nm of torque. The RWD EV can do the century sprint in 5.6 seconds.
Whichever version you pick, the Zeekr X comes with a 66kWh battery as standard and it offers a WLTP-rated range of up to 440km for the Premium and up to 420km for the Flagship.
In terms of charging, the Zeekr X Flagship has a three-phase 11kW AC onboard charger, while the Premium settles for a slower single-phase 7kW AC onboard charger. For quick top ups, both RWD and AWD models support DC fast charging up to 150kW, and 10-80% charge takes about 30 minutes.
In terms of safety, the Zeekr X has received 5-star Euro NCAP and Green NCAP ratings. It comes equipped with 7 airbags, 360-degree cameras and digital video recording (DVR), as well as a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic lane change (ALC), lane centering control (LCC), lane keeping assist (LKA), collision mitigation support for front and rear, and door open warning (DOW).
