The Yoodo brand will be discontinued on 29th August 2024 as part of the regulatory requirements for the CelcomDigi merger. As a small gesture of appreciation for the support over the past 6 years, active Yoodo users will receive free data.

As shared on the Yoodo app, active Yoodo lines will receive a total of 10GB of free data which will be credited in two batches. The first 5GB will be given today, 24th July 2024. Meanwhile, the second batch of 5GB will be provided on 26th August 2024, just a few days before the Yoodo brand is discontinued on 29th August 2024.

After 29th August 2024, all existing Yoodo customers will be migrated to CelcomDigi. While users have the option to port to other telcos, the telco says customers can continue to stay connected after the migration with no additional charges.

The existing Yoodo app will still exist for now and CelcomDigi assured that existing Yoodo users will be able to continue on their existing plan with the existing Yoodo SIM. They have also confirmed that customers who are currently enjoying 20GB for RM20 will be retained.
