Hotlink has just introduced its Super Streamer Pass which bundles a monthly video subscription service and unlimited data for streaming for RM9.90/month. Eligible Hotlink subscribers can choose between Sooka, Viu or iQiyi.

The Super Streamer Pass at RM9.90/month not only provides 30-day access to Sooka, Viu or iQiyi, but also unlimited data for streaming at uncapped 4G and 5G speeds. These passes are offered to Hotlink Prepaid users with an active monthly internet plan of RM25 and above, and Hotlink Postpaid customers.

The Super Streamer Pass for Sooka provides access to all Sports and Entertainment content on mobile devices only. Meanwhile, the Super Streamer Pass for iQiyi provides streaming up to 4K on mobile and Smart TVs. For the Super Streamer Pass for Viu, it provides viewing access on mobile and Smart TV with up to 1080p Full HD resolution.

The unlimited data for selected streaming service uses a different data allocation from your base prepaid or postpaid plan. According to the T&C, the unlimited data for the streaming pass has its own Fair Usage Policy (FUP) to curb abuse, but there’s no mention of the specific monthly quota for the selected streaming platform.

To activate the pass, eligible Hotlink users can launch the Hotlink App, click on Streaming and then choose from Sooka, Viu or iQiyi. According to the FAQ, these Super Streamer Passes are one-time passes. Users will be notified 3 days before expiry and you can continue by purchasing the same pass again. If you want to subscribe to more than one streaming platform, users may activate multiple access passes to access different streaming providers.

For more info, visit Hotlink’s Super Streaming Pass page.
