Deliveries for the Tesla Model 3 have started in Malaysia for almost a month now, while deliveries for the Model Y are only expected to start early next year. If you want to purchase a Tesla and have not yet placed an order, you’ll have to wait for at least 3 months to take delivery for your new ride.

According to Tesla Malaysia’s Model 3 and Model Y pages, both EVs are now listed with an estimated delivery in Q2 2024 which is somewhere between April and June next year. The prices remain unchanged with the Model 3 starting from RM189,000 while the Model Y starts from RM199,000. To place a booking, there’s a RM1,000 order fee which is an additional cost on top of the vehicle’s selling price.

If you want to get the Tesla Model 3 quicker, you can check out Tesla Malaysia’s available inventory list. At the moment, there are 13 units listed online which include the base model Model 3 RWD and the Model 3 Long Range model with dual motor. The available stocks include different exterior and interior colour combinations as well as wheel sizes.

In case you missed it, you can check out our first drive of the Tesla Model 3 ‘Highland’ where we took it for a spin at several roundabouts in Petaling Jaya.

If you prefer something bigger, the Tesla Model Y is the SUV version which comes with an even bigger boot. You can watch out first drive of the Tesla Model Y RWD in Malaysia below.
