Besides offering affordable 5G postpaid plans and 5G phone bundles under Pakej 5G Rahmah, Maxis appears to be offering an affordable home fibre broadband and postpaid bundle that costs less than RM100 per month. The bundle offer seems to be better than the Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar as you not only get a 30Mbps home fibre broadband plan with unlimited data for as low as RM69/month but also a postpaid line as well.
As revealed by Fahmi Fadzil on Twitter, Maxis is offering 30Mbps unlimited home fibre broadband and a postpaid line for only RM69/month. If that’s not fast enough, there’s also a 100Mbps unlimited home fibre broadband and postpaid option for only RM89/month.
We’ve reached out to Maxis and they told us that more details about the new “Rahmah” Fibre + Postpaid bundle will be published on their website in the coming days. Since Maxis currently offers 30Mbps home fibre for RM89/month and the advertised recommended retail price is RM119 before the discount, we reckon that the postpaid plan is valued at RM30/month.
At the moment, Hotlink’s cheapest postpaid plans are Postpaid 30 (RM30/month) which comes with just 2GB of data and this is followed by Hotlink Postpaid 40 (RM40/month) which comes with 30GB of data. Since this offer carries the “Rahmah” name, we are guessing that there could be additional rebates and the bundled postpaid plan might be Hotlink Postpaid 40. We’ll have to stay tuned for more details from Maxis.
However, take note that this Maxis Home Fibre promo is only applicable to areas with Maxis own build fibre areas. Essentially, it won’t be applicable to you if your location is only covered by TM’s HSBB network.
