The iconic Yamaha MT-10 SP is now immortalised in Lego Technic form: Coming to Malaysia for RM999

Lego has recently revealed several new Technic models that will be heading to stores soon including a replica of the Yamaha MT-10 SP. This is the first time that a Japanese motorcycle has made its way into the Lego Technic collection.

Targeted at adults, this 1,478-piece set should be able to provide a decent amount of challenge to those who are interested to build this replica of the iconic hyper-naked bike. Being a Technic set, there is an emphasis on realism which is why there are quite a number of functional parts within this scaled replica of MT-10 SP.

Among them is a highly detailed gearbox which contained elements such as a shift drum, gear shift ring, and ratchet drum. Not only that, it is also a working three-speed gearbox which you can engage by using the bike’s left foot pedal.

Furthermore, the replica also features functional front and rear suspension as well as Technic’s rendition of a 4-cylinder engine. As you can tell from the images, it is quite a sizeable set too since it measures over 25cm high, 44cm long, and 15 cm wide.

Once you complete the build, you can further explore the Technic’s replica of the MT-10 SP via augmented reality by using the Lego AR app. If you are already eager to get your hands on this set, hold your horses – the Lego Technic Yamaha MT-10 SP will only be available in Malaysia starting from 1 August with a price tag of RM999.
