Acer Malaysia has announced its new Predator Triton 14, its latest light and slim gaming laptop for both work and gaming. It runs on a 13th gen Intel Core i7 processor and can be equipped with up to RTX 4070 GPU. Designed for portability, the Acer Predator Triton 14 weighs just 1.7kg and has a thickness of 18.9mm.

The Acer Predator Triton 14 is now available in Malaysia and it comes in two options. The base PT14-51-767J model priced at RM7,599 comes with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. Meanwhile, the higher PT14-71-748Q priced at RM8,999 gets 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and per-key RGB Keyboard.
Acer is also offering a special early bird offer with freebies worth RM699 while stocks last. Customers who purchase the Predator Triton 14 before 16th July 2023 will be entitled to get a free 27″ Nitro VG270 E monitor worth RM549 and one year Trend Micro Antivirus worth RM150.

Acer Predator Triton 14 Malaysia Specs
The Predator Triton 14 gets a 14.0″ WQXGA (2560×1600) IPS that boasts a brightness of 500 nits, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and 165Hz refresh rate. Both variants run on an Intel Core i7-13700H processor that’s cooled with Acer’s 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D Fan technology. The laptop comes with either 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5 RAM that’s non-upgradable and 1TB of PCIe NVMe Gen4 SSD.
It terms of ports, it offers USB 3.2 Gen 2, Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Another nifty inclusion is a microSD card reader located at the front. In terms of wireless connectivity, it has Intel Killer 802.11ax WiFi 6E AX1675i and supports Bluetooth 5.1 and above. Keeping the lights on is a 90Wh 4-cell Li-Ion battery for both variants.
According to the online store listing, the Predator Triton 14 gets 2 years of onsite warranty with an accidental damage/theft warranty.
