Yes has recently introduced its Power 35 postpaid plan which offers loads of high-speed 5G data for only RM35/month. If you’re currently paying RM49/month for the older Yes FT5G Postpaid Plan, the new plan is a much better deal since the FT5G postpaid plan is now limited to just 100GB of data per month.

Yes 5G switch FT5G postpaid to Power 35

According to Yes 5G’s Facebook page, existing Yes Postpaid FT5G subscribers are able to switch to the cheaper Yes Power 35 plan. To do so, just visit a Yes Store and seek assistance from their staff.

Yes Postpaid Plans Power 35 Infinite Basic Standard Premium Ultra

To recap, Yes Power 35 at RM35/month offers 100GB of high-speed data which you can also fully utilise for hotspot usage. The 100GB data quota has no speed cap and it is applicable for both 4G and 5G usage. Also included are unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia.

If you don’t need to use more than 100GB a month, Yes Power 5G seems to be a better choice than Yes Infinite Basic which costs RM58/month. Despite offering unlimited 4G and 5G, Yes Infinite Basic’s hotspot comes with a limited quota of 20GB a month but it still retails the same uncapped speed and unlimited calls to all networks. However, if you need a brand new phone, only Yes Infinite postpaid plans offer 5G devices as a contract bundle. The Vivo Y55+ 5G, Redmi 10 5G and Oppo A78 are offered for free if you sign up for Yes Infinite Basic with a 36-month contract.
