If you’re thinking of picking up the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Samsung Malaysia is now having a deal where you can binge-watch Asian content on Viu for free for a year. The free 12-month Viu subscription offer for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is now available until 31st January 2023.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro retails for RM899 in Malaysia and it’s available in Bora Purple, Graphite and White. These wireless earbuds are available at Samsung’s online store and authorised retailers, as well as authorised online stores on Lazada and Shopee.
To redeem the 12-month Viu subscription worth RM99.90, you’ll need to redeem it from Samsung’s redemption site and click on the Viu campaign offer. You’ll need to enter your purchase information along with the device’s serial number. According to Samsung, the redemption period for the free subscription is valid until 31st May 2023. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro were launched alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 in August 2022. These are wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC) and it supports 24-bit audio with Samsung’s SSC-HiFi codec. Samsung claims that ANC has been improved by 40% compared to its predecessor and it has IPX7-rated water resistance.
The earbuds itself has a 61mAh battery that provides 5 hours of music playback with ANC or up to 8 hours with ANC turned off. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro case has a 515mAh battery that can provide a total playtime of 18 hours with ANC or up to 29 hours with ANC off. Besides USB-C charging, you can also charge the case wirelessly as well.
