In conjunction with the upcoming World Cup season, Celcom is currently having a Spin to Score campaign where customers can stand a chance to win prizes such as smartphones, vouchers and even a Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric vehicle. As the name implies, this is a lucky draw giveaway and you’ll have to “spin the wheel” on the Celcom Life App.

The Spin to Score campaign is open to all Celcom customers and it is running from 26th October until 31st December 2022. To earn a “spin”, you’ll need to perform an activity which includes activating or signing up for a prepaid or postpaid plan, performing a minimum reload of RM30 for prepaid, subscribing to eligible data and roaming pass, signing up for auto-billing, paying bills and activating Celcom Life app for the first time. The more spins you accumulate would increase your chances of winning.

The Celcom Life app is available for download on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery. To perform a spin, just tap on “Spin to Score” on the main dashboard or under “For me” on the Celcom Life App. According to the T&C, there’s no expiry on the spins earned and customers can spin anytime within the campaign period. For new activations and subscriptions, your chance to spin the wheel will only be available in the Celcom Life app two days after the date of purchase.

For the EV giveaway, Celcom is offering the Hyundai Ioniq 5 Plus which currently retails for RM238,408. This is the mid-spec model which has a 58kWh battery with a maximum range of 384km (WLTP cycle) and a 125kW (168hp) motor powering the rear wheels. If you win other prizes, Celcom’s T&C states that customers are still entitled to a Grand Prize draw.

The other prizes up for grabs cover Vivo X80 Pro 5G, Vivo X80 5G, other Oppo and Samsung smartphones, Vivo TWS 2e earbuds, Adidas 2022 Qatar World Cup Training Ball, Agoda travel vouchers and 24 hours 5GB internet. If you won yourself the free 5GB data, it will be activated automatically upon successful spin.

If you do win the car, Celcom would require you to submit your personal details within 24 hours of receiving a direct message from Celcom. Celcom says it has the right to select another winner if the customer is under 18 years old, provides wrong or invalid information, is unreachable after 3 attempts to contact the winner or fails to keep an active Celcom line. It is mentioned that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 Plus is offered excluding insurance.

For more info, you can refer to their FAQ and terms & conditions.
