Dreamed you could vacuum and mop in just one pass? Dreame has two smart assistants who can do just that and even clean themselves

This post is brought to you by Dreame.

Cleaning the floors has, more often than not, been a two-stage process which involves a sweep with a broom or vacuum cleaner followed by mopping. However, depending on your living space, this process typically consumes a lot of your time and energy. After all, you’re essentially cleaning the floor twice.

So, wouldn’t it be convenient if you could do both at the same time or even better, let something else do it for you? Well, a company called Dreame engineered the Dreame H12 Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner and the Dreame Bot W10 Pro Self-Cleaning Robot Vacuum and Mop to do just that.

Dreame H12 Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner

Helping you make cleaning your floors easier is Dreame’s H12 Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner, which like the name suggests, can tackle wet and dry messes. It does so by vacuuming and mopping in a single pass while rinsing the roller brush at the same time.

On the stalk of the vacuum cleaner, you will find a 900mL freshwater tank and another 500mL tank to hold the wastewater. Utilising intelligent features, the H12 is able to evaluate the cleanliness of the floor and adjusts suction power and water dispersion accordingly to optimise water and power respectively.

You can also monitor the condition of the floor with the circular cleaning indicator around the screen. A green light indicates light dirt while an orange light means there’s medium dirt present. A super dirty floor will prompt the ring to glow red.

Other aspects of the H12 can be monitored via the screen which also prominently displays the battery percentage. But you don’t need to rely on the display to get the information as the H12 can audibly provide you with alerts with voice prompts.

When the roller starts spinning, it acts like a wheel on a car, pulling the H12 forward, so you need minimal effort to push the vacuum cleaner. On one side of the H12, the bezel-less main brush design enables the roller brush to go all the way to the edge, allowing you to clean hard-to-reach corners and close to baseboards.

With these feature sets, the Dreame H12 is able to suck up and clean up drink spillage and food messes like smashed eggs and spaghetti stains. Once done, simply return it back to its base station for charging and to activate the self-cleaning function.

By clicking on the button at the top of the handle, the H12 will begin to clean the roller brush as thoroughly as possible, which is why the whole process takes around two minutes to complete.

A good feature that everyone can appreciate here is the absence of a dust bag, which is known to be a hassle to clean. Instead, all the dust, dirt and grime get mixed with the water, so you just need to pour out the wastewater.

Dreame Bot W10 Pro Self-Cleaning Robot Vacuum and Mop

For those of you who are super busy with work or just like to automate your daily routines, the Dreame Bot W10 Pro Self-Cleaning Robot Vacuum and Mop might just be what you need.

For starters, the Bot W10 Pro features 4,000Pa of suction power to sweep up dust and debris using a 19.2cm ultra-wide brush for broader sweeping. At the rear, there are a pair of dual rotary mops, capable of spinning at 180rpm while pressing down on the floor with 10N of continuous pressure to remove grime.

To effectively navigate your living space, Dreame gave it a LiDAR sensor to help the Bot W10 Pro create a digital map of each room and its furnishings. This system is then enhanced by the inclusion of smart AI algorithms, which uses a camera and a 3D ToF sensor up front to identify, recognise, and intelligently decide how to vacuum and mop around obstacles, furniture, and carpets.

Moreover, the AI is able to recognise whether the space is a bedroom, living room, bathroom or kitchen, and intelligently optimise the suction power, mop dampness and cleaning time. Since it can do this, you are able to give it voice commands via the companion app to clean a specific room, like when a hot chocolate drink spills on the kitchen floor.

Dreame designed the Bot W10 Pro with a D-shape body, making it easier for the robot vacuum to get closer to the edges of the walls and into corners. A side-mounted circular brush helps to drag particles towards the suction intake. Also, there’s no need to worry about the Bot W10 Pro falling off the edge of a staircase because there are sensors located on the outskirts of the bottom side making sure of that.

One cool smart feature worth highlighting is its ability to pause cleaning and return to the base station when the battery is low or to clean itself. The base station holds up to 4.5L of clean water and 4L of wastewater.

Dust, dirt and grime on the mop pads are washed away with clean water from the freshwater tank and sucked up into the wastewater tank. When it’s time to clean out the tank, all you need to do is pour out the dirty water.

Once the Bot W10 Pro has been recharged and cleaned, it resumes right where it left off. Packing a 6,400mAh battery, this little robot has enough juice to continuously clean for up to 160 minutes and cover up to 2,152sqft of floor space.

Dreame has also programmed the Bot W10 Pro to optimise its cleaning power based on the condition of the floor. So, a dirtier floor will prompt it to increase the mop’s rpm while reducing the rotation speed on a relatively cleaner floor.

After successfully cleaning every inch of your floor space, the Bot W10 Pro will return to the base station for charging and thorough cleaning. During this process, the mop pads are washed with fresh water and dried using hot air to prevent mildew or bacteria growth.

If you need the Bot W10 Pro to clean carpets as well, simply remove the mop pads and the W10 will automatically switch to sweeping mode only. Now, not only will it go over carpets, but it will boost the suction power to dig down deep and clean the material more thoroughly.

The H12 Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner and Bot W10 Pro Self-Cleaning Robot Vacuum and Mop from Dreame are meant to make your cleaning process easier by saving you time and energy.

Both smart appliances will be available to purchase from 3rd August 2022 on Dreame’s official Shopee store or from www.dreame.my.
