If you are facing difficulty accessing your Maybank online account via their website and mobile application you’re not alone. Maybank has confirmed that its Maybank app, MAE, M2U, and website are currently experiencing an intermittent service interruption.
Any inconvenience is much regretted. Please be informed that we are experiencing intermittent service interruptions for Maybank App, MAE by Maybank2u App and M2U website at the moment. [1]

On the main Maybank2u.com.my website, you can enter your username but you’ll be greeted by a “Service is currently unavailable” message after entering the password. The MAE app is currently inaccessible as it only shows the M logo loading animation before prompting an error message “Something is wrong”.
According to Maybank on Twitter, they are working closely to rectify the issue. So far there’s no estimated time of full restoration and they regret any inconvenience caused. This is probably Maybank’s first major outage this year and it had similar issues for both website and app in December just before Christmas.
