On today’s episode, we will be covering the new ZTE Axon in Malaysia. What’s interesting about this device is that it comes with an under display camera and it is priced for less than RM2,600. Xiaomi on the other hand is also about to introduce their new Xiaomi 12 series, and fun fact this is their first phone to run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. And also, does Yes FT5G prepaid service offer unlimited and uncapped data speeds on 5G?

Xiaomi 12 is launching soon

Before 2021 comes to an end, Xiaomi will be ending the year with a bang by introducing its new Xiaomi 12 flagship smartphone series. The upcoming device is their first smartphone to run on Qualcomm’s new top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, which will succeed the Snapdragon 888+. For more details, click here.

Touch ‘n Go card and SmartTAG lanes are still available on PLUS highway after 15 January 2022

Following the announcement that all toll highways on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia will be RFID-enabled from 15th January 2022, there appears to be some confusion about the status of the existing physical Touch ‘n Go card (TNG) and SmartTAG payment systems. More details here.

ZTE Axon 30 Malaysia

ZTE has slowly but surely been reintroducing itself as a flagship brand towards Malaysians. Previously, we saw them drop the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra here, the first ZTE flagship we’ve had officially in quite a while. Now, ZTE have also launched the base model ZTE Axon 30, which may have a lesser processor but is still fairly interesting in terms of specs and features. Find out more about the new device here.

Does Yes FT5G prepaid service offer unlimited and uncapped data speeds on 5G?

When it comes to unlimited prepaid plans, you probably think about hidden data quota that’s tied to a fair use policy (FUP). Yes is currently offering unlimited 5G data on its FT5G prepaid for RM30/month as part of its free user trial with Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB). If you’re wondering if there’s a hidden FUP, Yes has issued a notice to clarify about its unlimited 5G data offering. Details here.
