Nothing Ear (1) is coming soon to Malaysia, first country in Southeast Asia

Nothing, the company which recently introduced the Ear (1) transparent wireless earbuds has officially launched its online store in Malaysia on Shopee. Malaysia will be the first country in Southeast Asia to get the Nothing Ear (1) and the local release is happening soon.

To celebrate its official online presence in the country, Nothing is having a giveaway and all you’ll need to do is to follow their online store on Shopee. If the store hits 1,000 followers, 50 lucky people will get RM50 store voucher and 50 Shopee coins. When it hits 2,000 followers, 20 lucky people will get RM100 store voucher and 100 Shopee coins. Upon reaching 3,000 followers, Nothing is giving away its Ear (1) to one lucky follower.

At the moment, Nothing has yet to release the pricing and availability for its Ear (1) headphones for the Malaysian market. In the US, it is priced at USD 99 (about RM413) which is more affordable than a pair of AirPods. The Ear (1) stands out for having a transparent design and features active noise cancellation (ANC). It comes in a semi-transparent case that supports both USB-C wired and Qi wireless charging.

On a single charge, the Ear (1) pushes up to 4 hours of playback with ANC on or up to 5.7 hours with ANC turned off. With the charging case, you can get a total of up to 24 hours of playback with ANC or up to 34 hours with ANC off. The wireless earbuds also feature transparency mode which allows you to be aware of your surroundings.

The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.2 and it works for both Android and iOS devices. There’s also IPX4 rated water resistance which allows it to survive minor splashes. Also included are removable ear tips in S, M and L sizes. You can learn more in our Ear (1) announcement post.
