Vivo x Shopee 8.8 Brand Festival: Here’s what to look out for

In conjunction with the 8.8 sale happening on August 8, Vivo is teaming up with Shopee to offer exclusive deals on their smartphones in addition to rebate vouchers. Here’s the list of Vivo‘s smartphone deals.

Up to RM1,200 off for Vivo X50

The highlight of the Vivo x Shopee 8.8 Brand Festival would be the Vivo X50 series as Vivo is offering discounts up to RM1,200. The Vivo X50 Pro launched at RM3,199 can be yours for RM1,999. Meanwhile, the X50 which was originally priced at RM2,399 is going for RM1,599.

Both X50 models are powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset, equipped with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Both phones feature a 6.56″ 90Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display but the Pro model uses a dual-curved screen.

In terms of cameras, the X50 Pro gets a quad-camera setup featuring a 48MP main camera with a gimbal-like stabilisation feature, a 13MP portrait camera with 2x optical zoom, an 8MP periscope telephoto camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter.

The regular X50 also features a quad-camera setup which is slightly a step below. It consists of a 48MP main camera, 13MP portrait camera with 2x optical zoom, 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5MP macro camera. Both devices offer a 32MP selfie camera.

While both X50 smartphones support 33W fast-charging via USB-C, the X50 features a 4,200 mAh battery and the X50 Pro gets a slightly bigger battery at 4,315mAh capacity.

Additional offers on 8.8

Users may also enjoy additional offers only available during the exclusive livestream happening on the same day at 8PM on the official Vivo Shopee Mall store.

When the sale starts at 12AM, users also stand a chance to score a 88% discount voucher capped at RM7 with a minimum spend of RM1, available on a first come first serve basis. There will also be limited RM20 rebate vouchers when you spend at least RM100 on selected products, terms and conditions apply.

In addition to free shipping, users can enjoy free gifts worth up to RM359 when they make a purchase from the official Vivo store on Shopee Mall. They can stand to receive wireless earphones, the X60 Pro case, Ogawa eye masks, Starbucks cards and more, while stocks last.

Furthermore, with a minimum spend of RM499, customers can enjoy a rebate of RM30 while purchases of at least RM699 entitles them to a RM50 voucher. If they spend a minimum of RM999, they get to enjoy a discount of RM70. These vouchers are applicable to selected Vivo products only.

Vivo members get vouchers up to RM100

Users can also sign up to become a Vivo member where they can enjoy vouchers worth up to RM100. Customers will earn 1 point for every RM1 spent, and they can also receive 50 bonus points upon signing up. The points will allow users to redeem vouchers and other gifts.
