Deal: Get up to RM500 off for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE

If you’re looking for a flagship Samsung phone under RM3,000, Samsung Malaysia is currently offering up to RM500 off for its Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition). The up to RM500 rebate promo is currently running until 1st August 2021.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G 256GB which was recently slashed to RM2,999 can be yours for RM2,499 on the official online store. At the moment, only the Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender and Cloud Mint options are in stock.

If you don’t need 5G and looking for something more affordable, the Galaxy S20 FE LTE 128GB version is still available for RM1,899, which is RM400 off from its retail price of RM2,299. However, the device is currently only available in Cloud Orange.

To recap on the specs, the Galaxy S20 FE features a 6.5″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED display which pushes a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB of RAM. Previously, the LTE version ran on an Exynos 990 chip but Samsung Malaysia has recently released the Snapdragon 865 option for the LTE variant which comes with the model number SM-G780G.

The 4G LTE model gets 128GB of storage while the 5G option has double with 256GB capacity. If you need more storage, both also support microSD card expansion up to 1TB.

In terms of cameras, it gets a triple-camera setup which consists of a 12MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto camera. Both the main and telephoto even come with optical image stabilisation. For selfies, the screen has a punch-hole that houses a 32MP selfie shooter.

Powering the device is a large 4,500mAh battery and it supports 25W fast charging via USB-C. However, do note that a slower 15W fast charger is included in the box. The Galaxy S20 FE also features stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 rated dust and water resistance, Samsung Pay and also wireless charging.
