If you’re looking for a new budget tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is coming to Malaysia very soon. Pre-orders are available via retailer Mobile2Go with stocks expected to arrive on 26th June 2021.

According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite WiFi is officially priced at RM699 and it comes in either Silver or Grey. Like the “Lite” name suggests, this is the affordable alternative to the 10.4″ Galaxy Tab A7 that was launched last year for RM999.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite comes with an 8.7″ TFT display that pushes 1340×800 pixels resolution and it runs on an entry-level MediaTek Helio P22T processor. The device is offered with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage which is expandable via microSD card.

For taking pictures, it gets an 8MP main camera while the front comes with a 2MP selfie camera for your video call needs. Despite being a budget tablet, it still comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The 3.5mm headphone jack is still included.

Powering the tablet is a 5,100mAh battery and it charges via USB-C. It supports 15W adaptive fast charging but the global spec sheet says that the 15W fast charging adapter isn’t included. Overall it weighs 366g and has a thickness of 8mm. Out of the box, it runs on Android 11 and OneUI 3.1 skin on top.
