Taco Bell is opening soon in Bandar Sunway and Cheras

Seems like just yesterday that Taco Bell launched for the first time in Malaysia—and now the American fast food joint has plans to expand to Cheras and Bandar Sunway. The additional restaurants will be launched in the “coming months”.

“Taco Bell is now poised to expand to not just one, but two new locations to meet Malaysia’s appetite for our delicious and freshly-prepared Mexican-inspired cuisine,” wrote Taco Bell in their press release.

However, we don’t know yet where the location for each restaurant will be, nor do we have an exact date for their launches. But there will be the same food items offered in their Cyberjaya outlet.

“Residents of Bandar Sunway and Cheras will soon be able to enjoy all our iconic Mexican-inspired foods, including signature menu items like the Taco Supreme, the Crunchwrap Supreme, shareable Loaded Nachos, the Bell Rice Bowl and much more, whilst our customers in Cyberjaya will continue to enjoy the quality food experience that they have come to love so much in a few short weeks,” continued Taco Bell.

I’ve previously tasted Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap Supreme and Loaded Nachos. They’re pretty decent for “Mexican-inspired” fast food, although it is far from genuine Mexican food.

And with the MCO restrictions, not a lot of us in the city are able to go to Cyberjaya to take away some Taco Bell. So, I’m pretty excited that one of their new upcoming outlets will be closer to my location.

Previously, there was news that an upcoming Taco Bell outlet was spotted in Tropicana Gardens Mall. The hoarding board was spotted a year ago.

Additionally, Taco Bell has also announced that they have reached a “taco-milestone”. 100,000 taco meals have already been sold in six weeks at their Cyberjaya outlet.
