Samsung Malaysia slashes price for Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and Galaxy A12

Samsung has announced a price cut for its Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet and its Galaxy A12 budget smartphone. The new revised pricing takes into effect starting today and you can save up to RM200 off.

Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is now RM200 cheaper and this is applicable to both WiFi and LTE versions. Below is the new Malaysian pricing:

To recap, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with a 10.4″ Full HD+ TFT (2000×1200 pixels) display that runs on an Exynos 9611 processor. It gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage which is expandable via microSD.

The device gets an 8MP main camera at the rear and a 5MP shooter in front. It also gets a pair of stereo speakers tuned by AKG with Dolby Atmos enhancement. Also included is an S Pen that supports 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The tablet comes with a 7,040mAh battery and it is rated to last up to 13 hours of video playback on a single charge. It supports fast charging via USB-C and it gets a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Galaxy A12

If you’re looking for a budget phone, the Galaxy A12 which was announced early this year is now slashed from RM799 to RM699. The device comes with a 6.5″ HD+ TFT display and it runs on a MediaTek Helio P35 processor. Onboard, it has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which is also expandable via microSD.

For taking pictures, the rear gets a quad-camera setup featuring a 48MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. The tiny notch in the screen houses an 8MP camera for selfie. Powering the device is a large 5,000mAh that supports 15W fast charging via USB-C.

In case you missed it, Samsung Malaysia has also recently reduced the pricing for its Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds accessories. The Galaxy Buds+ is now going for RM449 and you can also get a Galaxy Watch Active 2 from as low as RM799.
