Lego is releasing a new Lego Porsche kit—letting you build your own Porsche 911 model. With the same kit, you can customise your build into two types of the classic 911 cars—the 911 Turbo and 911 Targa.

The 1,458-piece kit features a dark orange and nougat interior, with a handbrake, a shifter and a working steering. The car model also has the 911’s flat-six engine at the boot—just like the real thing.

As for the exterior, you are able to choose to build either the Turbo or the Targa. The finished model sits 4.25 inches tall, 6.3 inches wide and about 14 inches long—and it even includes several unique bricks designed especially for the Lego 911.

The 911 Targa model has a more classic look to it. It’s got a wraparound rear window, Targa-specific badging, a thick targa bar, and a removable roof that fits under the hood.

As for the more sportier 911 Turbo version, it gets a whale tail spoiler at the back. It also had a wider rear axle, a turbocharger, an intercooler and special Turbo badging. Both the Turbo and the Targa features the same rounded headlights, wheels and front bumper.

The Porsche 911 Lego kit will start to go on sale through Lego’s VIP Access program on 15 February 2021. You can join the program here, and ordering through the VIP program will come with four Porsche ads from the 911’s history rendered as Lego art prints. The pack also includes a certificate of ownership and a card wallet in a collector’s portfolio.

If not, the set will be released to everyone else through Lego.com on 1 March 2021. It retails for USD 149.99 (RM606.33).

If you want top check out other awesome Lego car models, check out the Lego Technic Ferrari 488 GTE model and the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 Lego set. Both cars—like the Porsche 911 set—have incredible details that are akin to the real cars.
