The iPhone 12 series was used to take these impressive cityscape photos

Apple has featured a compilation of photos shot on the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max to capture a compilation of images featured on Apple’s site. The images included shots of cityscapes, landscapes, people, and more—from day to night, by photographers around the world.

Apple commissioned photographers to take the shots for the showcase. The photos have been submitted by people in China, Kuwait, the United States, Thailand, Turkey, Italy, Japan, France, Russia, India, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Both the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 mini feature a dual-camera system with an Ultra Wide camera and a Wide camera with an ƒ/1.6 aperture. According to Apple, it provides 27% more light for improved photos and videos in low-light environments.

For the camera system on iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, it has a more versatile selection of lenses—Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto. However, the Pro Max uses a 65mm focal length telephoto lens which offers 2.5x optical zoom, while the smaller Pro has a 52mm telephoto camera that offers 2x optical zoom. The Pro Max also boasts a larger 47% sensor with 1.7μm pixels for low-light conditions.

If you want to see pretty iPhone shots taken in Malaysia, a photographer used the iPhone 12 Pro Max to take pictures of malls around KL city during the second Movement Control Order (MCO 2.0). The photos highlight the drastic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Raywen has also wrote a feature comparing cameras for the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The feature aimed to see if the more affordable device is able to keep up with the more expensive ones.
