New MacBook Air with M1 chip packs more power and boasts up to 18 hours of battery life

Apple has updated their MacBook Air with its all new M1 chip. This marks the beginning of Apple’s transition from Intel processors to their very own Apple Silicon. If you are wondering about its price, the base model that comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is going for RM4,399 while the  512GB option with an 8-core GPU costs RM5,399. The new MacBook Pro 13 is the first Mac to offer up to 20 hours on a single charge

Now let’s move on to the more expensive MacBook Pro which is also powered by the new ARM- based Apple M1 processor. At the moment, there’s no availability details yet for Malaysia. However, it is priced from RM5,599 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD model and RM6,399 for the 8GB RAM + 512GB SSD combo. The student and education pricing starts from RM5,169. MySejahtera check-in not required at the petrol pump

If you are still wondering whether you should or should not use your MySejahtera app when you are at the petrol station, here’s the answer that you have been looking for. During the National Security Council briefing, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has confirmed that MySejahtera check-in is not required when refilling petrol.This includes payments made by credit card, debit card and mobile app. Details here.
