If you’re expecting to use a lot of mobile data over the Merdeka and Malaysia Day period, CelcomDigi is offering a massive 1,631GB high-speed internet pass for just RM6.90.
Called the 1631GB National Day Internet Pass, the add-on provides 1,631GB of data that can be used on both 5G and 4G networks in Malaysia.
Despite the National Day branding, the offer isn’t limited to the Merdeka weekend as it is available for purchase until the end of September 2026.
CelcomDigi 1631GB National Day Internet Pass
The CelcomDigi National Day Internet Pass costs RM6.90 and comes with 1,631GB of 5G+4G data with a validity of three days.
According to the FAQ, the promotional pass is available from 20 August until 30 September 2026. It is available to both new and existing CelcomDigi prepaid and postpaid users.
There’s no auto-renewal for the pass but you can purchase it multiple times.
Once you’ve fully utilised the 1,631GB quota, subsequent data usage will be deducted from your monthly internet quota or other internet add-on subscriptions. Any unused data will be forfeited once its three-day validity period expires.
Take note that the pass is only valid for domestic usage within Malaysia and it cannot be used for roaming.
How to activate CelcomDigi’s 1,631GB pass
Prepaid and postpaid customers can purchase the National Day Internet Pass through the CelcomDigi app.
For prepaid users, open the CelcomDigi app, select Internet Add-Ons, followed by One Time Pass, and then select “1631GB Internet” to complete the purchase.
For postpaid customers, open the CelcomDigi app, select Internet Add-Ons, followed by Quota Top-Up and then “1631GB Internet”.
