The Poco X3 NFC is coming to Malaysia very soon and this is the Xiaomi sub-brand’s latest mid-range device. Ahead of the launch, we now get more details of its hardware specs and possible price range for the Malaysian market.

On the official Xiaomi Global Store on Shopee, they are currently running a contest (Post section on Shopee app) where they are giving away the Poco X3 NFC. Based on the clues in the description, it appears that the device will carry a three-figure price tag which means that it will going for less than RM1,000.

The first person who can solve the puzzle correctly will get the phone for free. Meanwhile, the 2nd to 10th winners will receive a 50% off coupon for the Poco X3 NFC.

The official launch is taking place on the 7th of September at 8pm Malaysian time. You can watch the event live on the official Poco Facebook page.

Poco X3 NFC Specs

The X3 NFC appears to be a powerful mid-range smartphone targeted at gamers. If you’re curious, some of the key hardware specs have been confirmed on AliExpress. As revealed earlier, the device is the first smartphone to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor, which is a slight upgrade over the Snapdragon 730G. In terms of photography, it will feature a 64MP main camera which is somewhat similar to the Poco F2 Pro flagship.

In addition, the device is also listed with a huge 5,160mAh battery and it supports 33W fast charging. Another hint on the page is that the phone appears to come with a 120Hz refresh rate display.

At the time of writing, the Xiaomi Global store has listed two models – Standard and Premium. We are guessing there are different RAM and storage configurations like the Poco F2 Pro.

With a price tag of less than RM1,000, the new Poco device appears to undercut the Redmi Note 9 Pro which is officially priced at RM1,099 in Malaysia. As a comparison, the Redmi device features a 6.67″ Full HD+ 60Hz display, a Snapdragon 720G processor, 5,020mAh battery and support for 30W fast charging.

Stay tuned for the full details next week.
