[ UPDATE 31/08/20 09:30 ]: Yoodo acknowledges network issue at least four hours after users have complained online. As of midnight, they have updated that its services have been restored.
===
It seems that Yoodo is having some network issues at the moment as several users (us included) are having trouble getting data on 4G. The issue appears to have started around 7.30pm this evening and at the time of writing, 3 of us at SoyaCincau.com are still unable to connect to 4G.
Our devices are only able to connect to 3G as shown above but there’s no data connection. We’ve restarted our devices several times and it still refuses to connect to 4G.
The strange thing is that the problem appears to be affecting random users in different locations. We have received confirmation from other Yoodo users in Penang, Cyberjaya, Puchong, Petaling Jaya, Selayang, Klang, Batu Caves and Kepong that data services are not available. However, there are Yoodo users that are able to access data with no issues on 4G.
To recap, Yoodo is an MVNO that uses Celcom’s network. According to Celcom, there’s no issue with their network at the moment but Yoodo has yet to respond to any queries about their network on social media. According to their latest tweet, the Yoodo app is temporarily unavailable but there’s no mention about their network.
