Kids can fly and stay for free with Malaysia Airlines’ latest promo

To boost local tourism, Malaysia Airlines has kicked off its ‘Kids Fly + Stay Free’ campaign and they are providing up to 60% off on holiday packages. Families can book under the promo from now until 2nd September, and it is applicable for the travel period from now until 31st January 2021.

Under this promo, a child aged between 3 to 11 years of age or an infant aged 2 years and below may fly and stay for free. However, it is only limited to a maximum of one child per booking. According to the fine print, for bed and breakfast arrangements, breakfast charges for children may apply and it will be included in the price. In addition, taxes are also applicable to the free seats and accommodation for kids.

Some of the participating hotels under the promo include InterContinental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai in Kota Kinabalu, Hard Rock Hotel Penang, Thistle Johor Bahru Hotel, Berjaya Langkawi Resort and Swiss-Garden Beach Resort in Kuantan.

According to the flag carrier, the package price for flight plus 3D2N stay starts from RM389 to Kota Kinabalu, RM189 to Johor Bahru, RM239 to Kuantan, RM249 to Langkawi, RM239 to Penang and RM189 to Kuala Lumpur from other destinations. The packages include complimentary onboard meals, 40kg baggage allowance and free seat selection. The T&C for the ‘Kids Fly + Stay Free’ promo states that no changes for name, dates, origins, destinations, flights and accommodation are allowed for the booking.

The airline has also launched a #BahMarilah promo with Sabah Tourism which offers up to 50% off for holiday packages to Sabah. The campaign for Sabah will run until 24th August and it is applicable for travel period until 31st December 2020. According to the T&C, the #BahMarilah promo allows unlimited changes of travel dates until the 31st December 2020.
