Sugu Pavithra to make comeback on YouTube, new video to be uploaded soon

Malaysia’s YouTube cooking sensation Sugu Pavithra are making a comeback on YouTube. A new video is expected to be uploaded to their YouTube channel this afternoon after discussions with various parties are finalised.

On Saturday, fans were surprised to find all of their past videos removed from YouTube. The channel is still accessible and it has over 780,000 subscribers. According to Bernama’s report, M. Sugu said the couple had erased all 98 videos because of several personal factors. He told Bernama that he was the one who deleted all the videos after what happened.

Sugu, who is a former estate worker in Sungai Siput said that they have lost their income from YouTube after the removal of the videos which was substantial. He told Bernama, “But that is okay, because I have hands, feet, to look for a job. Even before this (becoming a YouTuber), I earned money by working.” He also said that he was thankful for their loyal subscribers.

In a joint press conference last week, both said that they want to lead a normal life and don’t want any publicity. They told reporters that they don’t deserve the Ipoh City Icon and they just wanted to focus on their YouTube channel.
