Here’s the full range of Lego Super Mario sets that you can pre-order now in Malaysia

We knew a Lego Super Mario Set would be released on the 1st August, which included a Mario Starter Course and two expansion sets. However, Lego and Nintendo revealed a much bigger range in the same line.

“With today’s announcement, 16 LEGO Super Mario sets have been introduced and I am really looking forward to seeing how people’s play expands with these and theunique Power-Up Packs,” said Takashi Tezuka, Executive Officer and Game Producer of Nintendo.

Lego Super Mario Adventures With Mario Starter Course

The Mario Starter Course includes an interactive, Bluetooth-enabled Mario figure. The Bluetooth feature helps Mario interact with special Lego ‘action bricks’ so that you can collect ‘coins’ as you go. It’s priced at RM259.90.

Lego Super Mario Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set

The Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set was announced in April along with the Starter Course. It retails at RM149.90.

Lego Super Mario Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set

This massive set was also announced along with the previous two. It features Bowser himself and retails at RM479.90.

There are a total of ten collectible enemy characters in the Character Pack. The characters you can get are Paragoomba, Fuzzy, Spiny, Buzzy Beetle, Bullet Bill, Bob-omb, Eep Cheep, Blooper, Urchin and Peepa.

Each Expansion Set and collectible Character is meant to be used with the Mario Starter Course, which includes an interactive, Bluetooth-enabled Mario figure. The Bluetooth feature helps Mario interact with each expansion.

“The reaction to Lego Super Mario has been incredible,” said Jonathan Bennink, Digital Design Lead on Lego Super Mario. “Super Mario is such an icon—and fans have been highly anticipating the release of the full details of the product line.”

There will also be a Lego Super Mario app that fans can download to “further enhance the physical play experience”. The app, when released, will track scores and assist with building instructions.
