The Realme 6 was introduced in Malaysia last month with a single variant that comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. For those that want better hardware specs, they have just announced a new option that comes with 8GB RAM.

Realme 6 price

Below is the official pricing for the Realme 6 series in Malaysia:

Realme 6 (4GB RAM + 128GB storage) – RM999
Realme 6 (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) – RM1,199

The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version will be available starting this Saturday, 2nd May 2020 and it will be offered with extended 6 months warranty. If you’re interested, you can purchase it at the Realme Flagship store on Lazada as well as all authorised dealers. The device is available in two colours – Comet White and Comet Blue.

Hardware specs

The Realme 6 features a 6.5″ Full HD+ IPS display that comes with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate. It runs on a 12nm MediaTek Helio G90T processor which is the same unit that’s powering the Redmi Note 8 Pro.

In the camera department, the Realme device has a 64MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and two additional cameras for macro and portrait effects. For selfies, the device has a 16MP punch-hole camera that sits on the top left corner of the screen.

Powering the device is a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W flash Charge via USB-C. It still comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and it runs on Android 10 with Realme UI skin on top.

What do you think? Would you pay RM200 more for twice the amount of RAM? Let us know in the comments below.
