The Realme Buds Air had gone on sale today and all units were sold out in less than half an hour. This is their new affordable true wireless headset that looks like a pair of Apple AirPods.

According to Realme, they have sold all 1,000 units within 28 minutes and 300 units were sold in just 1 minute. They added that this is the best selling True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds in a single day on the Shopee platform. The Buds Air is officially retailing for RM299 but early bird customers can get it for only RM199 during the first-day sale.

The Realme Buds Air supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and it has a rated battery life of up to 3 hours of music playback on a single charge. With the provided charging case, you can get up to 17 hours of music playback in total.

Despite its low price, the Buds Air also supports Qi Wireless Charging (up to 10W) and there’s also a gaming mode which reduces audio latency from 243.8ms to 119.3ms. This mode is activated by long-pressing both left and right stems. The wireless earbuds also support environment noise cancellation but this only works for voice calls.

At the moment, only the white variant is available in Malaysia and the other two colour options (Black and Yellow) will be released at a later time. When the Realme Buds Air was released in India, they have sold over 11,000 units in just a couple of hours.
