The Realme 5 Pro was recently launched in Malaysia and it is a pretty capable smartphone for its asking price. It has an upper mid range processor, a really great design and it has 4 cameras in total. But recently Realme has introduced another smartphone and it is somewhat similar to the Realme 5 Pro and it is the Realme XT.

So how are they different from one another, well let’s find out.

The first thing you’ll notice about these devices are its design. While the Realme 5 Pro comes with a diamond cut design (which looks good in my opinion), the Realme XT settles for a more subtle look where you will see that there’s a gradient that shifts from blue to purple.

Even though both of these smartphone comes with a quad camera array, the Realme XT features a higher resolution main camera at 64MP, while the Realme 5 Pro only comes with a more conventional 48MP sensor.

But other than their main camera, the other 3 cameras are actually the same. You still find an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP macro camera as well as a 2MP bokeh camera on both these devices.

In terms of it’s display , the Realme XT has a slightly larger 6.4″ Full HD+ AMOLED display, while the Realme 5 Pro comes with a 6.3″ Full HD+ screen but it only has a LCD panel.

But in terms of hardware specs, they are pretty much similar because keeping both these devices up and running is an upper mid-range Snapdragon 712 processor that’s mated to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

And if you are interested, the Realme XT is officially priced at RM1,399, while the Realme 5 Pro is priced at RM1,099.

So which one will you pick? Let me know in the comments below. In the meantime, you can check out my Realme 5 Pro unboxing down here:
