If you’re looking for a 64MP camera smartphone that’s powered by Qualcomm, the Realme XT is coming to Malaysia on the 30th of October 2019. Although it shares similar internals as the Realme 5 Pro, the XT is slightly bigger and obviously it comes with a higher resolution camera.

Realme Malaysia has not revealed its official pricing and availability details just yet so you’ll have to stay tuned until next week for the full details. In India, the device is priced from INR 15,999 (about RM944) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. As a comparison, the current Realme 5 Pro is priced at RM1,099 for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

The Realme XT features a 6.4″ Full HD+ display that uses a Super AMOLED panel that comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Underneath its 3D curved glass back is a Snapdragon 712 processor that can be configured up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. If you need more, you can expand further via a microSD card.

In the camera department, the rear has a quad-camera setup that utilises Samsung’s 64MP GW1 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera as well as a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors. For selfies, the tiny notch on the display houses a 16MP f/2.0 front camera.

Powering the XT is a large 4,000mAh battery which is slightly smaller than the Realme 5 Pro. It can support fast charging with its 20W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 charger via USB-C. The device also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and it’s running on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 skin on top.

Would you get this over the Redmi Note 8 Pro? Let us know in the comments below.
