U Mobile is offering the Razer Phone 2 very soon

The Razer Phone 2 will be offered on contract in Malaysia very soon via U Mobile. The orange telco has posted a teaser image on its website but they have yet to reveal any plan or pricing details yet.

Looking at their current phone bundling, we expect U Mobile to offer the Razer Phone 2 on its Unlimited Hero P99 or P139 postpaid plans with a 24-month contract. It’s worth noting that Razer Phones are currently not sold officially in Malaysia. We can’t confirm at this point but this could be the first official device with local warranty.

At the moment, an imported Razer Phone 2 is going for RM3,298.

The Razer Phone 2 is the successor of the original Razer Phone. It gets a 5.72″ Quad HD+ display with a 120Hz UltraMotion refresh rate and it is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The device also comes with 64GB of UFS storage which is still expandable via microSD.

The device features a Razer Chroma RGB Logo at the rear and it has a dual-camera setup with a 12MP f/1.75 main + 12MP f/2.6 telephoto lens along with optical image stabilisation. Meanwhile, the front gets an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.

The Razer Phone 2 has IP67 water resistance, dual-front facing stereo speakers and a 4,000mAh battery which supports QuickCharge 4.0+ charging via USB-C.
