Samsung says battery life will no longer be a problem with the Galaxy Note9

As we draw closer to the launch of the Galaxy Note9, Samsung has released 3 teaser videos which give us a better idea of what to expect on their upcoming flagship smartphone. One of it addresses the biggest weakness of the current Galaxy Note8 and this should be good news for power users.

In the first video, it showed a funny situation of a smartphone user with low battery. It ends with a message “a lot can change in a day” before it shows the date of the Galaxy Note9 launch.

The current Galaxy Note8 has a 3,300mAh battery and despite being a productivity focused device, the battery is much smaller compared than the Galaxy S9+ (3,500mAh) as well as other flagship smartphones in the market. The upcoming Galaxy Note9 is expected to come with a 4,000mAh battery and hopefully, that should last a full day of heavy usage. It’s funny that the teaser appears to be mocking an iOS device which generally offers better battery life, especially on the iPhone 8 Plus.

Apart from the battery, Samsung has also teased bigger storage and better performance. This could confirm earlier speculations that the Galaxy Note9 will come with a huge 512GB of storage along with 8GB of RAM. That could also mean that the Galaxy Note9 might come with their most expensive model yet.

You can check the teaser videos below:

The Galaxy Note9 will be revealed on 9 August 2018. Stay tuned to us for the latest coverage. We expect pre-orders to start very soon and it could be on sale in Malaysia before the end of August 2018.
