When it comes to mobile gaming, nothing looks more badass than the ASUS ROG phone. If you’re looking for the best performance, practical design and a wide variety of options to level up your gaming experience, the ROG phone is coming to Malaysia very soon.

According to retailer DirectD, the ROG Phone for the Malaysian market will come in two storage options – 128GB or 512GB. There are no pricing details yet and looking at the ZenFone 5z, we expect ASUS to price it competitively against other Snapdragon 845 powered smartphones.

To recap, the ROG Phone gets a 6.0″ Full HD+ display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate with 1 ms pixel response time. Under the hood, it gets a higher-clocked 2.96GHz Snapdragon 845 processor that’s mated to 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM. To keep things cool, it has a 3D vapor-chamber design and bundled in as standard is an AeroActive Cooler that you can attach to the back of the device.

It gets a 12MP + 8MP dual-camera setup at the rear, while the front comes with an 8MP selfie shooter. Powering the ROG Phone is a large 4,000mAh battery which is charged via USB-C. For better practicality, there’s even a spare side-mounted USB-C port that you can use to charge while gaming. Unlike other gaming smartphones in the market, ASUS has retained a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In case you missed it, you can check out our first impressions as well as our thoughts of it as proper flagship smartphone. Is this the ultimate smartphone you’ve been waiting for? Let us know if you would get the ROG Phone in the comments below.
