Black Shark Malaysia

The Black Shark is Xiaomi’s ultimate gaming smartphone. It features a top of the line Snapdragon 845 processor and a rugged looking exterior that comes with a glowing logo at the back. If you’ve been eyeing this gaming device, you can get it now from as low as RM1,899 in Malaysia.

According to retailer DirectD, the Black Shark base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage is now going for RM1,899. Meanwhile, the higher spec variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at RM2,299. These are import sets with 1-year in-house warranty.

If you’re looking for more storage, Mobile2Go is offering the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option at RM2,628. They are also offering the 64GB and 128GB versions which are priced slightly higher than DirectD at RM1,948 and RM2,328 respectively.

The Black Shark was introduced in April this year and it gets a 5.99″ Full HD+ display in an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 845 processor gets liquid cooling which ensures maximum performance without throttling.

The device also features dual-speakers, a front-facing 3rd mic and a dedicated SHARK mode which optimises the device for the best gaming experience. At the rear, it comes with a 12MP f/1.75 + 20MP f/1.75 main cameras, while selfies are handled by a front-facing 20MP f/2.2 shooter.

This gaming device gets a large 4,000mAh battery which charges via USB-C. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. You can learn more about the device in our announcement post.
