Moto Z now at RM1000 off with extra warranty and protection

Motorola’s ultra-thin Moto Z is now getting a huge discount in Malaysia. Originally priced at RM2,699, the Moto Z can be yours at RM1,000 off when you trade in a phone in any working condition at DirectD.

Apart from the discount, Motorola is providing more value with additional freebies worth RM448. They are also throwing in additional 1-year extended warranty (worth RM199) plus 1-year Accident Damage Plan (worth RM249).

If the Moto Z’s 2,600mAh battery capacity is a concern, there’s a purchase with purchase promo where you can add-on an Incipio Power Pack (2,220mAh) Moto Mod for just RM99 (RRP: RM499).

To recap, the Moto Z is a 5.2mm thin phone with a 5.5″ Quad HD AMOLED display and it runs on a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 820 processor. It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD.

For imaging, it has a 13MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS, LaserAF and dual-tone LED flash, while the front gets a 5MP f/2.2 camera. On-board it comes with a 2,600mAh battery which supports fast charging via USB Type-C. There’s no headphone jack but a 3.5mm to USB Type-C adapter is provided.
