vivo V7+ Malaysia

After its making its global debut in India, the new vivo V7+ is finally making its way to Malaysia. Taking its selfie game up a notch is a 24MP front camera and it comes with a Full View display that gives you a 6.0″ screen in a typical 5.5″ smartphone body.

The vivo V7+ Malaysian launch is happening two weeks from now on 26 September 2017. To recap, the V-series is vivo’s premium mid-range range that’s focused on the selfie crowd. The vivo V7+ is their latest attempt on a bezel-less screen that comes with an 18:9 display aspect ratio.

The 5.99″ screen itself is a rather low HD 720p resolution that does 1440×720 pixels resolution. Under the hood, instead of a mid-range processor, it runs on a Snapdragon 450 unit that’s mated to 4GB of RAM. On-board storage is pretty decent with 64GB that’s still expandable via microSD.

In the camera department, the front gets a higher-resolution 24MP f/2.0 camera with beautification mode while the rear gets a 16MP f/2.0 shooter.

Powering the V7+ is a 3,225mAh battery that still charges via MicroUSB. Out of the box, it runs on their custom Funtouch OS 3.2 that’s based on Android 7.1. The vivo V7+ retails for INR21,990 in India which is about RM1,446 if converted directly to Malaysia. Stay tuned in two weeks for its pricing and availability details.
