U Mobile has just unveiled its newly revamped flagship store located on the ground floor at Berjaya Times Square. It’s more spacious than before as their customer service centre is now moved to a new dedicated space on the first floor of the same building.

The flagship store now has a fresh new appearance with ample space to showcase the latest smartphones on offer. On top of that, it even gets a dedicated Apple experience area which is the first of its kind for a telco in Malaysia. Apart from having the latest iPhones on display, U Mobile has Apple-trained staff on ground to assist with any product enquiries.

In conjunction with the store’s opening, its CMO Jasmine Lee has announced that U Mobile is the official sponsor of G-Dragon Act III: M.O.T.T.E concert in Kuala Lumpur. This is part of U Mobile’s Unlimited Grooves campaign to bring their customers closer to their passion of music. As a U Mobile customer, you’ll get additional exclusive benefits at the event. You can get a taste of these perks at the Good Vibes Festival that’s happening on 12-13 August.

U Mobile will be organising a concert ticket giveaway on Instagram for both G-Dragon and Ed Sheeran concert very soon. The Unlimited Passion for G-Dragon contest will start on 18 August while the Unlimited Passion for Ed Sheeran contest will take place on 25 September. Only active U Mobile customers of at least 6 months are eligible to participate in both giveaways.

In terms of network expansion, U Mobile has updated that they have started to switch on both 900MHz and 1800MHz spectrum bands that were recently awarded by MCMC. The 900MHz band which helps to expand its 4G LTE footprint further is currently being deployed in Johor and Ipoh, followed by Penang and Klang Valley in the months to come. As a result, U Mobile says that their existing customers should be getting improved network quality and coverage, making their U Mobile experience even more enjoyable.
