The Galaxy Note5 is turning 2 years old very soon but Samsung is still continuing to push software updates for the productivity tablet. Today, Galaxy Note5 users in Malaysia can finally get a taste of Android 7.0 Nougat that can be downloaded over the air.
The update is about 1.3GB in size so it is advisable to download via an unmetered WiFi connection. If you haven’t receive the update yet, you can check manually under Settings > About Device > Check Software Update.
Not only it brings Samsung’s new sleeker UI, but it also provides the device with a newer security update. You’ll also get an improved multi-window experience plus some performance tweaks that comes with Android 7.0 Nougat. You can check out what’s new in Sammobile’s video below:
A couple of weeks back, Samsung has also rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy S6/S6 edge users in Malaysia. After announcing the Galaxy S8, it looks like Samsung is still committed to updating their flagship smartphones for at least 2 years.
