In time for the year-end holiday season, Uber has reduced its fixed fare to/from KL International Airport to RM60. This is a RM15 reduction from its current RM75/trip fare on UberX.
If you need a bigger vehicle, UberXL is still RM110 while a more premium UberBLACK costs RM200 per KLIA/KLIA2 trip. Meanwhile, Grab still charges RM65 for the same KLIA journey.
Do note that the UberX fixed fare excludes tolls, so the total amount may vary depending on your pick up point. If you launch the app, you should be able to see the total price upfront for UberX before you hit the request button. The RM60 promotion is valid until 31st December 2016 and there’s no promo code required.
If you don’t want to be late, you can also schedule your UberX ride in advance. Just hit on the schedule button and set your desired pick up time. It is advisable to get to the airport earlier than usual as more people would be travelling during the school holidays.
