Want an immersive experience with your Galaxy S6 or S6 edge? Samsung is bringing its Gear VR to Malaysia very soon. The Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition that’s powered by Oculus was initially released for the Galaxy Note 4 and the newer version that’s coming here is designed specifically for the Galaxy S6/S6 edge.

With the latest flagships pushing a Quad HD resolution in a more compact 5.1″ screen size, you can expect better clarity with the Gear VR at 577ppi. In addition, the new Gear VR is 15% smaller than the previous model and it now allows you to plug-in a microUSB cable for constant power.

There are a variety of content available with the Gear VR which can be downloaded from the Oculus store. You can play selected games with 360 degree experiences or enjoy immersive virtual tours, galleries and 360 degree videos. Samsung Malaysia is organising a media event this Friday, so stay tuned for pricing and availability details. We have a unit at hand so watch our for our review coming soon.
