Hot on the tail of launching the premium LG G4 smartphone and announcing the LG G4 Stylus and G4c, the brand has confirmed that it will be launching a new flagship device by the second half of this year.

According to sources, LG confirmed that a new flagship that “stands above the G series” is in the works, with predictions pointing towards the new device potentially being the successor to the LG G Pro 2 to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Note line of devices. This is part of the brand’s “dual flagship strategy” which it kicked off last year with the launch of the G Pro 2.

However, the specs have yet to be finalized but LG says that the new phone will be pretty high-end. But the big question is how exactly is LG going to one up the LG G4?
