Xiaomi’s new i Global Smart Phone launch will be streamed live

Xiaomi is launching its new smart phone tomorrow that’s targeted at the global market. To catch the event live, Xiaomi is also having a live stream over at their website.

The live broadcast will start at 6:30PM Malaysian time tomorrow (23rd April) in English. We will be there at the event as well, so follow us on Twitter & Facebook for the latest updates.

The new device could be the Mi 4i which was spotted recently in benchmarks and Singapore’s IDA certification body. From what is known so far, the device is likely to be a international version of the Mi 4 but it carries a lower spec hardware of a Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor with 2GB of RAM. If priced competitively, this could be a compelling mid-range smart phone.

Like previous Xiaomi launches, they could have extra surprises as well. Who knows they might just reveal its new Redmi Note successor that’s rumoured to come with a Full HD display.
