SenHeng lets you pre-order the Microsoft Surface 3 in Malaysia

The newly announced Microsoft Surface 3 is now available for pre-orders at SenHeng. You can place your orders starting this coming Monday, 13th April and you can pick up one from RM1,989 for the base model with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage. Going up the notch with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage would cost you RM2,389.

For the full productivity experience, the Type Keyboard is sold separately at RM479.00 and it comes in Black, Bright Blue and Red. In addition, SenHeng is offering free Surface 3 skins for pre-orders (while stocks last) and an extra 1 year warranty.

To recap on the Surface 3, this is seen as the compact and affordable version of its Surface Pro 3 powerhouse. It gets a smaller 10.8″ Full HD touch screen display and underneath it runs on a quad-core Intel Atom x7-Z8700 processor that’s mated to either 2GB or 4GB of RAM depending on variant. Unlike the Surface Pro 3, it doesn’t get full flexibility for the kickstand and it settles for 3 fixed positions. There’s a 3.5MP front camera and a main 8MP unit that shoots Full HD 1080p videos. Out of the box it runs on full Windows 8.1 and it is upgradable to Windows 10 for free.
